Some journeys change your destination.

Others change you.

On an October evening in Muxía, Spain – the place medievals called “the end of the world” – five strangers arrive separately at a pilgrim inn.

A Boston woman who has just walked 1,600 kilometers away from a 23-year marriage. A young man, eight months sober, finishing his Camino on a bus. A Canadian couple on their fourth Camino, contemplating retirement and what matters most. A Spanish teacher carrying her dead brother’s stone. Their host, a French chef who escaped corporate kitchens, has never walked the Camino himself.

A communal meal at the end of their journey leads to laughter, confessions, and unexpected grace.

It’s a story about the challenges we carry, the questions we haven’t answered, and the strangers who sometimes see us best.

THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF:

  • You’ve ever wondered if it is too late to change your life.
  • You feel pulled to something more – but can’t quite name it.
  • You crave genuine connections in an increasingly disconnected world.
  • You’ve stood at a crossroads and chosen to keep going… or wish you had.
  • You’ve poured yourself into caring for others and forgotten what fills you up.

For readers of The School of Essential Ingredients, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, and Tuesdays with Morrie: a novel about pilgrimage, the questions we carry, and the strangers who see us best.

The Pilgrim's Table is Book One of The Camino Chronicles, a series about the roads we walk - and the ones we have been afraid to begin.

    A Must-Read for everyone.

Masterfully written. Each character is a poignant reminder of the various versions of ourselves we encounter on the Pilgrim's Path. I had to read it over and over again. Well done.

The Perfect Companion for the Camino Journey

I finished reviewing "The Pilgrim's Table" a week ago and it has taken that time for me to narrow down just how much this novel impacted me! Since Kevin first had information about the book on his website years ago, I have wanted to read this book. When it finally came time for me to read it, the wait was beyond worth it! Each character in the novel impacted me in some way, and as a Camino de Santiago pilgrim, myself, I could empathize a bit with what all of them were going through in life and on the Camino. So much of the novel brought back amazing memories of my two Caminos and the people I met from all over the world.

The Pilgrim's Table is a fantastic novel for any pilgrim and anyone contemplating the Camino journey. I am so excited that the journey of these characters is not over yet, but it is going to be a tough, long wait until the second book is released toward the end of next year!

    Buen Camino!.

    The Pilgrim's Table

This engaging novel follows a group of pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago, weaving together their personal stories, struggles, and unexpected friendships. The author captures both the physical journey and the deeper questions that often accompany it, bringing the settings and characters vividly to life. Thoughtful, well-paced, and filled with moments of humor and reflection, it offers an enjoyable glimpse into one of the world’s most famous pilgrimages. Readers interested in travel, personal growth, and the bonds that develop among strangers will find much to appreciate.

    A beautiful reflective read

The Pilgrim’s Table is a reflective and richly layered novel that blends themes of faith, community, personal growth, and the power of shared experiences. At its core, the book is less about a physical journey and more about the internal transformations that occur when people come together with openness and vulnerability.
